Become a Consignor with us!
It's easy!
Simply call or come by during store hours and make a new consignors appointment.
For this appointment, we ask that you plan on spending approximately 30 minutes with us, and please bring 20 items that you wish to consign with you.
During this time, we will go over the consignment agreement with you, and we will screen your items with you.
 
Please note, ALL persons wishing to do business with The Revolving Closet must have a signed Consignment Agreement on file before we are able to sell your items.
DROP OFF REMINDERS:
 
* Only clean, quality merchandise in good condition will be accepted.
* Items that will not be accepted includes, but is not limited to: item(s) with piling, rips, tears, stains, holes, strong odors, appear unclean and/or appear out of date. If The Revolving Closet choses to accept any item that is considered "unclean" by staff, making it necessary for item to be cleaned by staff prior to sales floor presentation, an automatic fee of 5% of the sales price will be charged.
* The Revolving Closet reserves the right to refuse any item at any time with or without reason. Items will be received during receiving hours only. The Revolving Closet reserves the right to change receiving dates and/or times at any time for any reason and without notice.
* Merchandise will not be guarenteed.
* Consignors are asked to place all clothing on provided hangers. If consignor chooses to have The Revolving Closet staff place hangers for them, an automatic fee of 5% of the sales price will be charged.
 
Consignor Payment:
*Cash will be paid from consignor’s account for payments of less than or equal to $50.00 upon consignor’s request during store hours.
* Requests for payment from Consignor’s account for greater than $50.00 must be made a minimum of 24 hours in advance, and will be paid in cash or by check. Consignors may ask in person or call the store during open store hours. 417.455.9091
* Requests for payment mailed to Consignor will be subject to a $5.00 charge that will be taken from Consignor’s account prior to payment. Requests for mailed payment must be made for payment of no less than $20.00. Mailed payments will be by check only and via certified mail.

 
Additional Terms of Agreement:
* Items may remain in store for a minimum of 90 days, and may be held for up to 9 months. Items will be for sale at full price for a minimum of 4 weeks prior to price markdown. Items may run through sales floor cycle more than once.
* Any merchandise that is not sold at the end of the consignment period shall be donated or returned to Consignor. If Consignor chooses for items to be returned, Consignor will be given one week notice to pick up unsold items. If items are not picked up within one week of notice, all unsold items will automatically be donated to The Revolving Closet’s charity of choice.
* In the event that the Consignor decides to remove their merchandise prior to end of the consignment period, the Consignor shall assume all responsibility for retrieving any unsold item(s) under supervision of The Revolving Closet staff during store hours. A fee of $15.00 will be charged and must be paid by Consignor to The Revolving Closet upon retrieving item(s).
* If account becomes inactive for 6 months or greater, all unsold merchandise and/or consignor’s portion of proceeds will automatically be donated to The Revolving Closet without notice.

Drop off hours:
Wednesday-Saturday 11am-2pm
*Consignors may drop off up to 20 items once a week during a consigning week.  
(We do not receive items in January and July unless it is funiture pieces)
 
"Drop & Dash" drop off hours:
Tuesday-Saturday any time during store hours
*Consignors may drop off up to 35 items once a week during a consigning week. 
(We do not receive items in January and July unless it is funiture pieces)
 
 
 
 
Also at times will we be asking for seasonal items or items we are wanting to stock up on so please feel free to check us out on our Facebook page to see if there is any special needs for the week you drop off!  We will let you know the week before if we have to stop receiving for a week to get your merchandise out on the floor faster!
